Tradition and modernity melted in a bottle
Our wines
PETIT VERDOT 2006
This is a single varietal wine, from petit verdot grape, with an interesting tannic and aromatic profile, essentially different from the wines we are used to, with good acidity and deeply colored.
Look: Deep red wine
Nose: Interesting complexity, floral aromas of fine woods, with a light touch of mocha, elegant, refined and delicate.
Mouthfeel: In mouth it’s fleshy and velvety, with a flavour of ripe, fresh and candied fruits of the forest with a long finish; it’s delicate, warm and silky.
LA SANGRE COUPAGE 2006
This wine is composed by a 40% of Tempranillo, a 30% of Syrah and a 30% of Cabernet Sauvignon. These three varieties need a careful handle in the vineyard so as to get the optimum ripeness in the climate of Ronda. It’s this very climate the one which allow them to develop a deep colour, delicate aromas and a firm concentration.
In the production, the natural vigour and the strength of its ingredients have been kept as a guarantee of preservation and evolution
This deep red blend delivers intense aromas of morello cherry or strawberry jam and spices.
All these different ingredients integrate into your mouth: Tempranillo provides the red fruits,Syrah provides the wild berries and the round tannins, while Cabernet Sauvignon provides the spices and a firm structure.

As well as these wines, Bodegas La Sangre de Ronda keep a small production of old wines from our region that we have recovered in order to avoid the disappearance of this heritage, always as a sentimental matter more than profitable. These old wines are not intended to be marketed but they can be tasted in our winery.
